Miracles and punishment in Mexico

Hola!

This week was another really fast week, but a really good one! We saw so many miracles unfold for us. First, let´s start with zone conference. Pres, Whitehead was feeling it and gave us an AWESOME 5 hour conference. haha we played a doctrine game, heard from our leaders, and Presidente rocked it to close. His best quote that stuck out to me the most was ´´begin with the end in mind´´ which means when we start with investigators, we need to be imagining them in the temple, and in the celestial kingdom with us. We learned to much. Second, we got home late twice this week....almost to the point where we needed to call Pres, which nobody wants to do. Well, God decided to punish us. haha. When we left the house of the investigators, it wasn´t raining at all. 5 minutes later, it was the hardest rainstorm I have ever been in. I didn´t bring any form of protection, and we both got absolutely soaked. We ended up running home, and got even more soaked. Mythbusters was right, you get more wet when you run in the rain. That happened later on in the week as well. Now with the miracles. haha. We have a family of about 8 people in progress, and 6 of them went to church yesterday. The wife of Immanuel didn´t go because they have a newborn baby in the hospital with problems. We got to go over there during the week to give little Jonás a blessing. My comp, Immanuel, and I went up and they only allowed me and Immanuel in. (I was going to give the blessing) I went in, and I felt the spirit so strong. I was in a room with maybe 20 babies. I was giving the blessing, which was a little different because it´s a baby that doesn´t understand me at all, but I knew that Immanuel was listening too. I felt impressed to say that the baby was surrounded by angels. We left and ever since then, Immanuel said that he´s been receiving more funds for his baby. The power of the priesthood is true! So in the ward of Las Torres, the average attendance is 50. Sometimes we have 40, sometimes we have 55. Yesterday, we brought 11 investigators to church, and 6 less actives came, and we had 70! It was a number that we haven´t seen in Las Torres for about a year. We are definitely not satisfied, but it was a great sight. Also, my recent convert gave a talk! She rocked it. Her mom is giving a talk next week too! I´m so happy for them, and they are completely converted. They also brought 2 of their relatives to church with them. Kenny, the daughter, is at EFY this week as well. I can´t wait to go to the temple with them! Thanks for all of your love and support, I can literally feel it, and it helps a lot. You are in my prayers, and I know that we are protected from both sides of the veil.

Con amor,
